GAMING IN PRETORIA

If you have been yearning to dash down a WILD RIVER, but do not have the time or money to zip up to the ZAMBEZI, look
no further than the HIGHVELD
CROCODILE RIVER.

Don your swimming kit, lather yourself in sun-cream, gather your wits about you and head on down to PADDLE POWER. They guarentee novice and experienced canoeists good fun and a wet workout on grade 1, 2 and (3 in the rainy season) - all within a short drive
of the city.

The challenge is not only negotiating the narrows, but also in mastering the rapids, whilst also relaxing along the quiet sections of the river.

Starting the day with tea and coffee with rusks served on arrival, after which an indemnity form is signed, accompanied by equipment issuing and transport to the put in site where a safety talk is held. The group now heads out on to the river. A day trip covers roughly 18km, with no
less than 18 rapids with a scrumptious picnic lunch
served alongside the river.

For the more ADVENTUROUS,
a 2-day trip makes the perfect getaway from the stress of the office. The half day trip for those who just want to take it easy is a morning or afternoon run with lunch or a braai back at
the bush camp.

With overnight tented accommodation, clients can relax next to a crackling fire and reflect on the day's adventure. Relaxed and confident that all your needs are catered for by your experienced and friendly guides. In addition to the water there is good FISHING, prolific BIRDLIFE and some formidable LEGUAAN, unfortunately no crocodiles!!!
